So my latest post galvanized enough of you to write in, and I hear you: You got a lot out of the LRs, and some of you even think they are your favorite parts of the blog.

I’m removing them for two main reasons.

1. People who only have a passing acquaintance with me have been able to trace the identities of the girls based on details in the LRs. This has caused me all kinds of grief and drama. There is also the risk that other guys will be able to trace the other girls in the LRs.

2. Some of the things I did and said in those old LRs do not accurately reflect my current style of socializing, and I don’t want people to get the wrong impression about me.

I will continue to write “field reports” about my experiences with the women in my life. Some of these may even count as “lay reports.” However, I am going to do it in a much more discrete manner. It would simply be too much trouble to edit all those old LRs in a satisfactory way. So the ones that can be salvaged, I have left up.

Truth be told, I have a “field report” coming up about a night in Toronto. It will, however, be written in a more discrete and respectful style.
